Certified wood, custom-designed interiors, and technical support at every stage.
The wardrobe as a fixed element of the space
A closet is rarely replaced. It is installed once and remains in the bedroom for decades, withstanding daily use, changes in wardrobe, and adaptations throughout the family’s life. Because it is a permanent fixture, the choice of a closet carries disproportionate weight compared to other furniture decisions. A poorly sized wardrobe compromises the organization of the entire bedroom. A well-planned wardrobe blends into the architecture and becomes visually unobtrusive, allowing the bedroom to breathe.
The deciding factor isn’t just aesthetics. It’s the relationship between usable space, the interior layout, and the way the closet interacts with the rest of the room. A sliding door can save 60 cm of floor space. A niche that makes use of vertical space can add linear meters of hanging space without taking up any additional floor area.
At Beiraportal, we provide wardrobes made from certified wood that coordinate with our line of flooring, doors, and baseboards. We use the same wood species (oak, beech, pine, and walnut), allowing the wardrobe to blend in visually with the rest of the bedroom rather than clash with it.
What Makes for a Good Choice
Three factors guide the decision: the available space determines the type (built-in, modular, or freestanding, with hinged or sliding doors); the items to be stored define the interior layout (the balance between hanging space, shelves, and drawers); and the style of the bedroom influences the finish of the cabinet fronts (natural wood, lacquered, with handles, or push-to-open).
Interior Design
We help you plan the interior layout of your closet before it is built. We assess the number of users, the types of garments that will be stored (long dresses, suits, folded items), the need for drawers for underwear, shoes, or accessories, and the integration of complementary features such as mirrors, LED lighting, or compartments for luggage. This advance planning prevents the most common mistake: wardrobes that look beautiful on the outside but are poorly organized on the inside.
Why wood?
Certified wood offers dimensional stability over the years, the possibility of restoration rather than replacement, the absence of harmful emissions, and aesthetic appeal that improves with time. All of our wood is FSC- or PEFC-certified, ensuring responsible sourcing.

Find the Closet ideal for your project
Every space calls for a different solution. Explore the available configurations.

Built-in Closets
They blend into the room's architecture, fitting into existing openings or niches created as part of the design. This is the most visually unobtrusive solution, making the most of the space from floor to ceiling.

Hinged Wardrobes
Traditional outward-opening doors. They allow a full view of the interior at a glance. Suitable for bedrooms with ample space to move around in front of the closet.

Sliding Wardrobes
Doors that slide parallel to the front of the cabinet, requiring no clearance space. An ideal solution for compact bedrooms or situations where the bed is close to the closet.

Walk-in Closets
An open layout with no doors, designed like a small walk-in closet. Ideal for suites and spacious bedrooms where storage plays a central role in the space.
